The venue includes two full-size polo fields, an indoor arena, a polo arena, an outdoor riding arena, and numerous paddocks.

What is Polo?

Polo is a fast team sport played on horses. Each player holds the reins in the left hand and uses the right hand with a long mallet to hit a small ball. The goal is to work together as a team and score goals, just like in football – but on horseback.

What makes polo special is the strong partnership between rider and horse, and that it is one of the few sports where men and women play together and against each other.

There are different ways to play polo: on grass fields (the most traditional form), in a sand arena, on snow, or even on the beach. No matter where it’s played, polo is always about teamwork, speed, and fun with the horses.

Step Into the World of Polo

We warmly invite all of you to join our free introductory course at the Frankfurt Polo Club, where you will get to know the rules and flow of the game in a fun and hands-on way.

As a special highlight, we are excited to welcome Thomas Winter, one of Germany’s best polo players, who successfully runs the same concept in Hamburg and will share his experience with us on that day.
